Song of the Day
It’s April 15, so there can only be one Song of the Day, the Beatles – Taxman. From the superb Revolver album in 1966, this was one of the first George Harrison songs I really liked. A good guitar riff, with George singing lead. The lyrics make reference to a British super tax of that day, where certain incomes were taxed at 95%. Aren’t politicians grand?
